DANCE CAN UNITE US - UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND'S MULTICULTURAL DANCE FESTIVAL
Friday, September 30, 2011, 8pm (doors open at 7:15pm)
Biddeford City Theater, Biddeford, Maine
Join us for what promises to be a wonderful celebration of traditional dance from around the world hosted by the University of New England. The Friday evening concert features Middle Eastern dance and music with Jamileh, Dorothea, Josephina & Okbari, Indian classical dance by Eastern Cultural Heritage Organization, and African dance and music by Akwaaba African Drum and Dance Ensemble. Saturday features a Middle Eastern Dance workshop with Jamileh and an Indian Classical Dance workshop with Indhra.
